Fategarh Ram Temple in Nayagarh, Odisha, is a highly esteemed Hindu shrine devoted to Lord Ram. For devotees, this temple is very symbolic both culturally and religiously, attracting tourists and pilgrims looking for joy and spiritual fulfilment.

The temple was built in step with the TaraTarini temple’s architecture, which is made of balamala stone without the use of iron rods. The temple building was started in 2017 with more than 200 workers. The building cost of the ram mandir is around 12 crores. Here, we will give you all the details about the Fategarh Ram Temple:

History of Fategarh Ram Temple –

The idea of the Ram Temple in the district has a long history. People have been worshipping Lord Govardhan on this mountain for a very long time. On this hill, there was Bhagavata Pieta before the temple was built. Also in 1912, at Lord Jagannath’s Navakalebar, the tree that belonged to Lord Sudharshan was taken from Fategarh.

Additionally, one of the villagers dreamed that the Lord wished for a temple to be built a top the hill. The people made the decision to form the Shri Ram Seva Parishad committee in order to recognise this. More than 15,000 people who live in the village of Fategarh donated half of the money needed to build the temple. The hight of the temple is 65 feet situated at 1,800 feet above sea level.

Best Time To Visit –

The best time to visit ultimately depends on your preferences. I would like to recommend visiting this place during festivals like Rama Navami, Diwali, or the beginning month of the year (the new year). Despite this, the winter season, which runs from November to February, is recommended.

Darshan timing of Ram temple is 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (no tickets). On the top side of the hill, there is a park for children, and a parking area is also available .

I believe this post will give you additional information about the Fategarh Ram Temple.
