2. Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves

Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, are partly natural and partly artificial caves of archaeological, historical and religious importance near the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India. The caves are situated on two adjacent hills, Udayagiri and Khandagiri Mentioned as Kumari Parvata in the Hathigumpha inscription. It is believed that most of these caves were carved out as residential blocks for join monks during the reign of king Kharavela. Udayagiri means “Sunrise hill” and it has 18 caves while Khandagiri has 15 caves. The most importance of these caves was ranigumpha in Udayagiri which is a double storied monastery. Other importance caves include Hati Gumpha , Ananta Gumpha , Ganesh Gumpha ,Jaya Vijaya Gumpha , Mancapuri Gumpha Bagha/Byaghara /Vyaghra Gumpha and Sarpa Gumpha .Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves in the list of “Must see” India Heritage.

Shanti stupa Dhaulagiri is also known as the peace of pagda. Dhauligiri lies at a distance of 7km from Bhubaneswar. As one travels from Bhubaneswar, the word “shanti” in the name itself suggests peace. Since king Ashoka adopted the path of peace and tranquility and resorted to Buddhism. The overall structure of the stupa is in the shape of a dome, one can spot the buddha footprints as well as the bodhi tree over the stone panels. 5. Bindu Sagar

Bindu sagar lake was created by lord Shiva by by bringing water from all the holy places to quench the thirst of goddess Parvati. This lake is 1300feet long 700 feet wide. All four sides it has temples, the water eventually formed a large body of water , which became know as Bindu Sagar.

6.Pathani Samanta Planetarium

Pathani Samanta Panetarium is a planetarium city of Bhubaneswar in India named after astronomer pathani Samanta. It was founded for creating awareness about astronomy. Biju Patnaik park in Bhubaneswar is one of the most popular park in the city. It is located in one of its prime areas- Bapuji Nagar.
